We returned from another trip to Canada to visit with Laura, Ray, Xander, and new baby Liam who is just the cutiest! We had a blast! Laura had lots of things planned and we wish we could have done them all. Even on the down days that we had we were busy.
Braeden and Xander were a riot! Between the two of them we must have heard "I can''t see!" and "But I was just.." a thousand times. It became comical after a while.
We met up at Marineland which is like a mini Seaworld. It was the perfect size for the boys. The next day we went to the farm and winery to pick up some yummy wine. Then off we headed to the train museum. The boys loved ridding the old trolly type cars.
Sunday was a down day but still lots of fun. We headed to a local park on the water for a picnic. The boys (including the big boys) had fun throwing rocks into the water. We brought some back for the little boys to paint. That was a mess but they had fun. Xander left his handprints on the carpet and Braeden left puddles of paint on the wood floor. Yes, it was a mess for us to clean up but they had fun and that''s what really matters.
Monday we went to Centreisland. That is one cool place and we really want to go back there again! We took the GoTrain into Toronto and then a boat to the island. We played on the beach and in lake Ontario, found our way through a maze, played in Franklins Garden, and jumped in the splash pad.
Tuesday we headed to the childrens museum and then to lunch. We ended up at a sushi place where Xander at sushi (I was impressed) and Braeden played with his sushi.
Wednesday it was time to head home. That was sad because we knew it would be months before we saw each other again. Braeden walked Xander to his daycare and cried because he didn''t want Xander to go. Braeden is usually excited to get on a plane but this time he didn''t want to leave. He was excited once we got to the airport but when leaving Xander''s house he was none too happy.
We can''t wait to see them again and it can''t be soon enought.
